GreensTEi recently participated in the Boiler World Expo in India, where it showcased a diverse range of thermodynamic solutions for land and marine applications. Highlights included smoke tube and D type boilers, HRSG systems for industrial use and combined cycle power plants, as well as advanced biomass boilers. GreensTEi also presented its waste heat recovery boilers for hazardous waste incineration and cutting-edge marine boiler technologies, including its recent contribution in the world’s first marine carbon capture retrofit on Solvang ASA’s Clipper Eris.
GreensTEi Supports World’s First Marine Carbon Capture Retrofit
GreensTEi is proud to contribute to the world’s first full-scale marine Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) retrofit on Solvang ASA’s ethylene carrier, Clipper Eris. In line with its commitment towards decarbonising through energy-efficient thermodynamic solutions, GreensTEi supplied its advanced exhaust gas boilers and supporting equipment, playing a crucial role in enabling the 7MW Wärtsilä CCS system. The system is designed to capture 70% of CO2 emissions, significantly advancing maritime decarbonisation efforts. This pioneering project, led by Seatrium, highlights the collaboration across the industry to create a cleaner, more sustainable future for global shipping.
GreensTEi signs technology support agreement with Greens Shazhou for global business
To meet the ever increasing worldwide demand for decarbonising and carbon capture products, GreensTEi have signed a technology support agreement with Greens Shazhou, China, to manufacture marine and offshore boilers, marine economisers, industrial boilers, power station economisers, HRSG, WHR boilers, gas heat exchangers, waste-to-energy boilers, biomass boilers and more. Greens Shazhou have extensive and state of the art boiler manufacturing infrastructure, and hold manufacturing licenses and certifications of all major classification societies, and ASME stamps, to meet the most stringent international requirements, worldwide. They also have a large facility along the river front for modularisation of single or multiple boiler units, for ease of transportation and installation
