GreensTEi showcases Advanced Solutions at Boiler World Expo

GreensTEi recently participated in the Boiler World Expo in India, where it showcased a diverse range of thermodynamic solutions for land and marine applications. Highlights included smoke tube and D type boilers, HRSG systems for industrial use and combined cycle power plants, as well as advanced biomass boilers. GreensTEi also presented its waste heat recovery boilers for hazardous waste incineration and cutting-edge marine boiler technologies, including its recent contribution in the world’s first marine carbon capture retrofit on Solvang ASA’s Clipper Eris.

GreensTEi supports world’s first Marine Carbon Capture Retrofit

GreensTEi is proud to contribute to the world’s first full-scale marine Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) retrofit on Solvang ASA’s ethylene carrier, Clipper Eris. In line with its commitment towards decarbonising through energy-efficient thermodynamic solutions, GreensTEi supplied its advanced exhaust gas boilers and supporting equipment, playing a crucial role in enabling the 7MW Wärtsilä CCS system. The system is designed to capture 70% of CO2 emissions, significantly advancing maritime decarbonisation efforts. This pioneering project, led by Seatrium, highlights the collaboration across the industry to create a cleaner, more sustainable future for global shipping.

Greens Shazhou trains Ship Owners and Fleet Management Engineers

As part of their annual orientation program for clients, Greens Shazhou arranged a one day training on Marine Boilers for Ship Owners and Fleet Management Engineers at the Taifu International hotel in Zhangjiagang. More than 25 participants from client companies across China benefited from the classroom sessions and the fire test on a 20 TPH boiler at shop floor test bay.

GreensTEi also made a brief presentation on the future roadmap post the strategic technology support agreement between GreensTEi and Greens Shazhou.

GreensTEi attends CHEMUK 2024 in Birmingham

GreensTEi attended the CHEMUK 2024, held on the 15th and 16th of May at the NEC in Birmingham. This annual event brings together the UK’s chemical industry professionals, showcasing innovations, technologies, and solutions across the chemical supply chain.

GreensTEi signs technology support agreement with Greens Shazhou for global business

To meet the ever increasing worldwide demand for decarbonising and carbon capture products, GreensTEi have signed a technology support agreement with Greens Shazhou, China, to manufacture marine and offshore boilers, marine economisers, industrial boilers, power station economisers, HRSG, WHR boilers, gas heat exchangers, waste-to-energy boilers, biomass boilers and more. Greens Shazhou have extensive and state of the art boiler manufacturing infrastructure, and hold manufacturing licenses and certifications of all major classification societies, and ASME stamps, to meet the most stringent international requirements, worldwide. They also have a large facility along the river front for modularisation of single or multiple boiler units, for ease of transportation and installation

TEi UK achieves F4H₂+CCUS certification, supporting Net Zero goals

GreensTEi is proud to announce that its parent company, TEi UK, has successfully achieved the prestigious Fit For Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Usage & Storage (F4H₂+CCUS) certification. This designation, awarded by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC), recognizes TEi’s capability to support the hydrogen and carbon capture sectors.

This certification is a significant milestone in TEi UK’s participation in the Zero Carbon Humber Partnership (ZCH), an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming the Humber region into the world’s first net-zero industrial cluster by 2040. As part of the F4H₂+CCUS program, TEi underwent rigorous assessments and training to enhance its readiness to supply cutting-edge solutions for hydrogen production and carbon capture infrastructure​.

This milestone reinforces GreensTEi’s commitment to decarbonisation via energy-efficient and sustainable solutions globally.
